The Biggest Reason We Steal Other People’s Ideas

Interesting article, several years ago I had written a short white paper to a CEO at a company I consulted at about some product enhancements.  I never got an acknowledgement that he had seen or read it.  About 2 years later a major initiative was launched “thought up” by the CEO which were the same ideas I had presented earlier.   I really did find it a bit humorous and was already aware of the phenomena described in the link below. I didn’t care and the improvements were submitted as part of my normal activities,  I knew enough about the man to know he wouldn’t intentionally steal them.  I was just happy they incorporated the improvements which held the potential of differentiating a commodity product.
